PROJECTS

"The long path from material through function to creative work has only one goal: to create order out of the desperate confusion of our time. We must have order, allocating to each thing its proper place and giving to each thing is due according to its nature."
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

• Office Buildings

We begin with a detailed analysis of the client's specific needs and requests and all legal and physical conditions. We then develop a formal project program and alternative design solutions that meet the project criteria and parameters while adhering to the client's budget constraints.

As we design our projects, we develop a thorough understanding of the client's usage patterns, industry or profession. We research and consider new and appropriate materials or systems and, often, acquire a deep appreciation for the needs of the end-users, who might never be known to our clients or to us.

Consequently, our designs reveal a concern as to how temporary or long-term users, visitors, patients, employees, practitioners, patrons or staff, regardless of age or physical condition will utilize the finished building or space and how they might interact with or benefit from it. Finally, our finished designs are both flexible and adaptable and can accommodate changes in use, technologies, industries or professions or how our clients might deliver their services.

We participate in every phase of the project, from the initial design phase to the development of the construction drawings and specifications. We assist with the bidding of the work, visit the site to observe the construction, verify compliance with the contract requirements and resolve issues, and provide final reviews upon completion.
