PROJECTS
Tommy Nevins Pub

This project was a new corner bar-restaurant in downtown Evanston, Illinois with an Irish theme and menu. The pub theme is extended throughout the restaurant with dark wood furniture, trim and a wood bar with etched glass and mirrors. Further echoing this motif are liquor and beer advertisements, framed newspapers, posters, and period photographs. The main dining space adjoins the street and the sliding door facade is opened in the summer when outdoor seating is added. A second dining space near the main bar area is where live Irish music concerts are held each weekend. As the restaurant grew, we added a large private dining room in the adjoining space that has now become a game (darts and billiards) room, with the private dining space and a second bar moving into a second later expansion.
